Warm, creamy oatmeal topped with toasted pecans, brown sugar, and a pat of butter. Comfort in a bowl.
Bring water or milk and salt to a boil. Stir in oats and reduce heat to medium-low.
Cook for 4 to 5 minutes, stirring occasionally, until oats are creamy and thickened.
Divide between two bowls. Top each with brown sugar, toasted pecans, a pat of butter, and a sprinkle of cinnamon.
Serve with a splash of cream or milk.
