Fudgy, rich brownies loaded with chopped pecans and chocolate chunks. The perfect balance of chewy and nutty.
Preheat oven to 350°F. Line an 8x8-inch pan with parchment paper.
Melt butter and chopped chocolate together in a saucepan over low heat, stirring until smooth. Remove from heat and let cool slightly.
Whisk in sugar, then eggs one at a time, then vanilla.
Fold in flour and salt until just combined. Stir in pecans and chocolate chunks.
Pour into prepared pan and spread evenly. Bake for 28 to 32 minutes until a toothpick comes out with moist crumbs.
Cool completely in the pan before cutting into squares.
